Whether you want to offer a private or public screening, offer your event free or at a cost, we have got you covered. Our cinemas are available to rent for short term or long term purposes, whether you’re planning a film club, community screening, fundraiser, seminar, or multi-day festival.

Step 1: Book Your Screen

Reserve your virtual screening dates and ensure that you have the right to showcase your desired content. If you don’t have a film in mind yet, contact us for programming support.

Step 2: Submit Your Content

Provide us with all the necessary information by filling out a detailed form with your text copy, embed links, and all the media, logos, bonus content, and widgets you wish to feature. You can host your film files on any preferred platform and simply send us the embed links. We will work diligently to build your virtual cinema page within three days. You will receive a link and password to proof check your site, and can send us one round of revisions*.

*Pro Tip: For hosting virtual panels or discussions just send us your link and we’ll embed a pop-up button on your page.

Step 3: Invite Your Audience

Depending on the scale of your screening, you can invite your audience via personal email or ask them to register for the screening and pay for tickets using a site like Eventbrite. Simply share your Cinema Page Link and Password, and you’re all set.

NOTE: Unlike other services we do not ask your audience members to register for an account or provide any contact details. Your audience stays yours.

Yes! You can sell tickets and ask for donations. All money earned from your event is yours.

SIMA only requires you to pay the space rental fee for the duration of your booking. For content you own or have the streaming rights to – you are free to earn and raise funds at your discretion.

In addition to hosting your film event, you can feature live or recorded panel discussions, sponsor logos and bios, forms and surveys, donate buttons and calls to action, as well as any additional video content.
